She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lewis Smith and Bessie Ray Smith; her grandsons, Kevin (Guy Hill) and Jay (Jenny); her great grandchildren, AnnaMarie, Jacob (Arielle) and Isabelle; her great great grandchild Rush Wade Edwards; and her close friend Wendy Turner.

“I'm not able to be there for my dear sisters funeral today as I am sick with pnuemonia. But you all are in my thoughts and prayers. She loved her family with all her heart and God gave her a long life of which I am thankful for. I miss the phone calls we had. I miss the laughter we had on the phone. We lived far away from each other but we still had good times together even if it was on the phone. I love her dearly. And she truely is missed. Always know your Aunt Nancy Ann loves all of you.”
