She is survived by: her husband Ambrose Southern; her children, Vicky Pierce (Jay) and Timothy Dale Southern (Miriam); her grandchildren, John Wesley Pierce, Deidra Pierce and Julia Southern Robertson (Corbin); her great grandchild Weston Pierce; and her brother Thomas William Senter.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Skyline Memory Gardens (432 Old Buck Shoals Rd, Mt Airy, NC 27030).
