She is survived by: her parents, William Thompson and Peggy Thompson; her husband Ronnie; her daughter Kristen (Kirby); her grandson Ripken of Walnut Cove; her sons, Joseph (Stephanie) of Winston-Salem and Benjamin (Uriel) of Mt. Airy; and her sister Laura Matthews of Winston-Salem.
