She was predeceased by: her father Javan Alexander; her husband Lorenza Gardner; and her siblings, Julia Young, Daisy Alexander and John Young.
She is survived by: her mother Daisy Alexander; her godchildren, Annette Lowe and Ben Lowe (Jenna); her caregiver Nancy Fleming (Lewis); and her siblings, Wanda Green (DarryL), Tracy Johnson (David) and Anthony Jefferson. She is also survived by children of her own, she was a second mother figure to her many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hooper Funeral Home Chapel (1415 14th St NE, Winston-Salem, NC 27105). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
