He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Hughes and Geraldine Hughes; his brothers, William, Jr. and Paul; and his stepson Steven Harvey.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his daughter Ariel; his grandchildren, Zariah, Hilton and Dallas; his brother-in-law Robert Harvey; and his siblings, Larry (Tina), Sylvia, Renee James (Curtis), Sherry, Michelle Parrott and Vanessa Johnson (Nathan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
