She was predeceased by: her father Claude W. Reid; her husband Robert L. Harlan; and her sister Margaret R. Helms. She is survived by: her sons, David Harlan of Winston-Salem, NC and Thomas Harlan (Beth) of Midlothian, VA; her granddaughter Maribeth Harlan of Midlothian, VA; and her nieces, Janet Lowrey (Jim) of Winston-Salem, NC and Joan Hoover of Charlotte, NC..
