We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Doris Joyner (Winston Salem, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bishop Walter Joseph Jackson and Mother Jackson; her siblings, Edna, Lewis and Walter Jackson; and her sister-in-law Linda Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Wilbert, Jr. (Jennie) and Kasey Joyner-Thompson (Marlyn); her grandchildren, Kyrie, Nova and Ava; her sister Vickie Kyle (Johnny); and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Jackson, Tena Bullock and Lee Joyner (Jean). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Volger Funeral Chapel at Forsyth Memorial Park (3815 Yadkinville Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
