She is survived by: her children, Nancy Crichlow (Mark Ball) of Austin, Susan Elster (John) of Winston-Salem and Thomas Crichlow (Jennifer) of Durham; her grandchildren, Alison Elster Duncan (Jordan), Caroline Crichlow-Ball (Chandler Payne), Jack Elster (Hannah Faye) and Henley Crichlow; her great grandchild Parker Elster Duncan; and her nieces, Pam Engert Prow, Lisa Diane Engert Redhead and Sarah Ruth Miller Boye.
