He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Howard and Lillie Mae Vanhoy Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Doris Yow Lawson; his children, Delmer R. Lawson, Jr. (Barbara), Bobby L. Lawson, Cynthia D. "Cindy" Lawson (Ronald Toothman) and Marie Lawson Ford; and his brother Alton "Duck" Lawson. He is also survived by his family and friends.
