He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nonnie Hicks and Jim Hicks; his wife Joann; his sons, Jeff Hicks, Dale Hicks and Keith Hicks (Wendy); his grandchildren, Taylor Deann Walden (Nick) of Greenville, NC and Austin Gray Hicks of Raleigh, NC.; and his pet Coco.
