She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandchildren, Emerson Ann Welch, Carter Franklin Welch, Shea Matthew Kight, Hayley Noel Jenkins and Samuel Garrett Jenkins; her parents, William Basom and Edna Basom; her husband Sonny Howard Meck; her children, Matthew David Kight (Tara), Jaime Dellyn Welch (Jason) and Molly Meck; and her sister Dee Pickett.
