She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Lee Bradley and Eddie Lee Cross; and her sister Sylvia Ann Young. She is survived by: her spouse Willie Werts; her children, Talethia Bradley, Travis Cox and Dedrick Tomlin; her sisters, Effie Young of Winston-Salem, NC and Lisa Horne of Maryland; her stepmother Lena Cross of Maryland; and her aunts, Mary H. Bradley of Winston-Salem, NC, Constance Bradley of Winston-Salem, NC, Minister Arzaia Bradley Thomas of Winston-Salem, NC and Cornelia Bradley of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren.
