He was predeceased by: his father Harry Timmons; and his brother Mark Timmons. He is survived by: his mother Janice Timmons; his wife Deborah Beane Timmons; his children, Jill Bennett (Mike), Steven Timmons (Mimi), Travis Hester (Jenn) and Alyson Hill (LP); his brother Philip Timmons (Martha); and his grandchildren, Logan, Livy, Joshua, Jake and Luke. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many treasured friends.
