David Neil McClanahan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2023, at the age of 66, David Neil McClanahan of Winston Salem, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David Stewart McClanahan and Doris New Matthews McClanahan; his brother Ben Matthews; and his stepmother Margaret Philips Moore McClanahan. He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen McClanahan (Michael Jackson); his grandchildren, Ophelia Jackson and Jackson Lagan; his sister-in-law Deborah Alexander (John) of Chapel Hill; his nephew Jordan Matthews (Andrea Donnelly) of Henrico County, Virginia.; and also, Brad Lagan and Teresa Butner of Winston-Salem.
