He is survived by: his sons, Keith Carter and Kristopher Pearson; the parent of his children Kim Carter; and his siblings, Rakib, John Razzak (Fatima), Munirah, Akil, Marvin Razzak (Nathifa), Asim, Basir, Lorenzo Razzak (JoAnn), Julius Pearson, Maisah, Doretha Rainer (Wali), Mary Greene (Kenneth) and Lillie Holmes (William). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
