It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Lee Edwards of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Wallen Edwards; and his siblings, Arthur Edwards, Helen Bradley, Elizabeth Fleming, Marjorie Daniel and Robert Edwards.

He is survived by: his wife Mae King Edwards; his children, Darryl Wiley Edwards (Lisa) of Charlotte and Catherine Edwards Lawler (Andrew) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Melanie Percival (Trent) of Nashville, TN, Shannon Lawler of Boston, MA, Caroline Lawler of Charlotte and Christopher Edwards (S. Airforce); and his great grandchildren, Lillian Percival and David Percival. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Konnoak Baptist Church.
