We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Daniel Jerry Bates (Winston Salem, North Carolina). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Timothy Bates, Jr., Ryan Bates, Michael Bates, Chris Wilson and Whitney Lanier (Alan); his parents, Timothy J. Bates, Sr. (Jennifer) and Janet Sourek Bates; his nephews, Wilson and James Lanier; his pet Lunchbox; and his fiancé Michael Buckland.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Daniel's memory to local LGBT+ charities such as Time Out Youth, as they were causes close to his heart.
