He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lopp Hyatt Sr. and Zana Hiatt Hyatt; his wife Iris Kirk Hyatt; and his sisters, Virgie Parks and Linda Cherry.
He is survived by: his daughter Abby Hyatt Fedor (John David Fedor Jr.); and his grandchildren, Maty Kathleen Fedor and John David Fedor III.
