He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Johnson and Josephine Foster Johnson; his siblings, Matthew Johnson, Jr., James Johnson, Bernard Johnson and Jacqueline Johnson; his wife Mamie Uzzell Johnson; and his daughter Melinda Hope Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Johnson and Clarence Johnson, Jr. (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Precious Gethers (Javon), Clarissa Johnson and Clarence David Johnson; and his siblings, William Johnson, Vincent Johnson and Brenda Johnson Middleton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
