He is survived by: his children, Katrina Strickland, Angela Strickland, Brian Strickland and Charles Strickland Jr.; his stepchildren, Jana and Eric Covington; his grandchildren, Brittani Green, Dominique Johnson, Destiny Strickland, Shelby Strickland and Sydney Strickland; and his great grandchildren, Kamdyn Turner, Peyton Hairston and Karter Zoker.
