He is survived by: his parents, Cecil Midgett and Maureen Midgett; his wife Noel Midgett; his children, Derek Midgett of Winston Salem, Bryant Midgett of Winston Salem, Rachel Midgett (Stephanie) of Winston Salem and Raven Midgett (Gilly) of Raleigh; and his siblings, David Midgett, Danny Midgett, Arthur Midgett, Alex Midgett and Alicia Midgett.
