It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Howard Stephenson (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on January 19, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Stephenson and Veola McGee Stephenson; and his sisters, Marie, Arlene, Mary Lou, Kathleen and Gloria.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Phillips Stephenson; his children, Michael Stephenson (Judy), Lisa Poplin (Johnny) and Mark Stephenson (Natasha); his grandchildren, Ryan Stephenson, Bryce Stephenson, Trey Poplin, Rachel Poplin and Stephanie Cartwright; and his brother Eddie Stephenson (Inge).
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Methodist Church (5125 Shattalon Dr, Winston-Salem, NC 27106). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
