It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Theresa Kalesnik of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester James Weldon and Marie Josephine Weber Weldon; and her husband Stanley James Kalesnik. She is survived by: her son Alan Charles Kalesnik; her siblings, Edwin Weldon, Anne Marie Funderburg and Veronica Bienkowski; her children, Frank Thomas Kalesnik (Carol), George Edward Kalesnik (Sarah), James Edward Kalesnik of Winston Salem, Lynda Marie McClory of Lexington and Bethanne Cook (Joe) of Winston Salem; her grandchildren, Heather Long, Victoria Ruvio (Ricky), Alexandra McClory, Kyle McClory, Emilee Cook, Dylan Kalesnik, Drew Kalesnik and Zachary McClory; her great grandchildren, Vance, Ace, Eddie, Haley, Kendra and Laya; and her sisters, Mary Cummings and Patricia Weldon.
