She was predeceased by: her mother Almeda Naomi Bailey; her aunts, Geraldine Sims, Elizabeth McGruder and Christine Geter; and her uncle Lorenzo Bailey.
She is survived by: her son Neil Deon Stewart, Jr. (Jamillah); her grandchildren, Leila Stewart, Amare Stewart and Ashalina Stewart; and her aunt Velmar Faison. She is also survived by other cousins, relatives and friends.
