With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl Worthy of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Worthy and Alberta Shelf Worthy; his son Tory L. Worthy; and his brothers, William Worthy and Wilber Worthy.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Johnson; his children, Nathaniel "Nate" Worthy (Karen), Carl Worthy, Jr. and Monique Chambers; and his siblings, Ruby A., Clyburn, Gwendolyn Love (Dwight), Perry Worthy (Cynthia) and Larry Worthy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
