He was predeceased by: his father Carl Ulysses Phipps. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Lambert Phipps; his children, Sandra (Linwood Jones), David (Lynn Phipps), Kim (Phil Lanning) and John (Amanda Phipps); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Spencer, Aaron, Margaret, Claire, Catherine, Caroline, Josh, Faith, Stephen, Jackson, Angel, Carl, David and Lilly; and his sister Janet Eddins. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
