He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph P. Babcock and Helen M. Babcock; his brother Jay; his half-sister Celia; and his son Pope.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Pope Burroughs; and his sons, Luke M. Babcock (Allison) of Sag Harbor, NY and Thomas B. Babcock (Molly) of Santa Barbara, CA. He is also survived by four granddaughters.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Centenary United Methodist Church (646 W 5th St, Winston-Salem, NC 27101).
