Billy Eugene Shuford Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Billy Eugene Shuford in Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on November 10, 2024 at the age of 97. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Billy Eugene Shuford to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parent Avie Shuford; his wife Margaret; and his siblings, Robert Shuford and Geraldine Rice. He is survived by: his children, David Shuford of Winston-Salem, Phillip Shuford (Elsy) of Ozark and Genna Shuford Johnson (Nelson) of Greensboro, Georgia; his grandchildren, Captain Lucas Johnson of Shreveport, Abigail Johnson of Greensboro, Georgia, Andrea Shuford of Ozark and Andrew Shuford of Ozark, Missouri; and his siblings, Jim Shuford and Laura Lanier of Weaverville, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Robert F. Miller Center (3315 Silas Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, NC 27103). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the West Memorial Park (40 Roberts St, Weaverville, NC 28787).
