She is survived by: her children, Carson D. Thompson of Nashville, NC, Dawn T. Highsmith (Johnny) of Mocksville and Donna T. Hunt (Gordon) of Winston-Salem; her grandchildren, Adam Highsmith (Melanie), Austin Garces (Teddy), A. J. Highsmith (Julia) and Audrey Hunt (Alex Dull); and her great grandchildren, Reese, Holland and Tucker.
