It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean McKeown (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph G. Yokeley and Elva Nading Yokeley; her husband R. J. McKeown; and her brother Richard Yokeley. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Van Ormer (Mike), Joan Kimel and Judy Smitherman (Eddie); her sister Jane Brock (William); her granddaughters, Suzanne Evans and Katie White; and also Tim Swift. She is also survived by four great grandchildren; and a special friend.
