Lowe, Jr.; her granddaughters, Ashton and Ariana Lowe; and her daughter Esther Bryant-Kyles (Edwin J. Kyles, Jr.).
She was recognized for her contributions to President Obama's election by being selected to be a special delegate to the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colorado, and attendee at the 2009 Inauguration of President Barack Obama.
