It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Cook (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on August 1, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Hash Wolford; and her sister Sherry Wolford Pharr. She is survived by: her father Lorenza Wolford; her son Sirod; her husband Samuel Cook; and her siblings, Ava Morrow (Benjamin, Sr.) of Manning, SC, Veronica Hash Price, Rebecca Simon (Eric), Mae Oakes (James), April Berry (Nathaniel) of Belews Creek, NC and Daniel Lorenza Wolford. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as aunts, uncles, and many cousins and friends.
