It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Martin Holder Sr. of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Eugene Holder, Sr. and Linda Brannock Holder; his son Benjamin M. "Marty" Holder, Jr.; and his siblings, Eugene Holder, Jr. and Lois Kelly.

He is survived by: his wife Peggy Valetos Holder; his son Keith Holder (Christine); and his grandchildren, Charlotte Holder, Max Holder, Nikki Ridley (Lucas) and Chris Holder (Cindy). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
