She was predeceased by: her siblings, Willie Johnson Jr., Sadie Donnell and Mariam Shipp; her son Glen Johnson Sr.; her husband James K. Dobson; and her parents, Sarah Curry Johnson and Willie H. Johnson Sr..
She is survived by: her daughters, Janie Brewton, Arthelia Moser (Donald), Carolyn Canty and Regina Dobson Johnson (Wesley). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
