It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barry Eugene Crotty of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Elkhorn, West Virginia, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Crotty and Marion "Butch" Crotty. He is survived by: his wife Joan Crotty; his daughters, Cristy Crotty of Durham, Ansley Spencer of Greensboro and Julie Giljames (Ansley); his son-in-law Steve; his grandsons, Owen and Drew of Winston Salem; and his pets, Harper, Finley and Lucy. He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Trellis or Burkhead UMC.
