She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Gaither Bryant and Flora Melinda Spear Bryant; her husband Aleck Victor Pappas; and her brother Marshall Gaither Bryant. She is survived by: her daughters, Melinda Pappas Tilles (Steve) and Melissa Pappas Katibah (Mark); and her granddaughters, Leah Tilles, Anna Tilles, Kathleen Katibah, Karen Katibah Tate (Devin) and Karla Katibah. She is also survived by five nephews; five nieces; two sisters-in-law; and two goddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 435 Keating Drive, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27104.
