She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Hairston Jeffries and Otto Jeffries; her husband Edward B. Debnam; her son Staphon B. Debnam; her granddaughter Destiny D. Debnam; and her brothers, Otto "Harvey" Jeffries, William "Tyrone" Jeffries and Curly Bernard Jeffries.
She is survived by: her son Derick A. Debnam (Sharon); her daughter-in-law Sherri Debnam; her godson Darron Daniels; her grandchildren, Derick "D. J." Debnam, Jr., Jamari Debnam, Justin Debnam (Uriah Cummings) and Nadiya Debnam (Anthony Berry Jr.); her great grandchild Alaiya S. Berry; her cousin Carol Jean McDowell; her sister-in-law Wanda Jeffries; her nieces, Atisha J. Baldwin, Micha Jeffries and Allana J. Taylor; and her goddaughter Jamesca Holman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Russell Funeral Home (822 Carl Russell Ave, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Union Baptist Church (1200 Trade St NW, Winston-Salem, NC 27101). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
