She was predeceased by: her parents, Henrietta C. Jiles and Shellay Jiles Sr.; her husband James O. Lowery; her children, Delphenia Washington and Elliott D. Lowery; and her grandson David Lowery.
She is survived by: her siblings, Minister Alma Roberts, Shellay L Jiles (Kim), Mary Hairston (James) and Vanessa Jiles; her children, Larion Lowery (Thelma), Vernard Lowery, Undray Rollinson (David), Desmond Lowery and Karen Peoples (Richard); her caregivers, Tonya Hackett and Patricia Mitchell; and her close friends, Robin Mouzon and Rodney Whitehead. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
