It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audrey Alice Collins of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Covington, Virginia, who passed away on August 9, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Audrey Alice may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Audrey Alice touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Edward Collins; and her mother Lillian Louise Byers Brooks. She is survived by: her sister Tracy Brooks Williams (Danny) of Stuart, Virginia; her nephew Adam Hamby of King; and her great-nephew Troy Hamby of King.
