He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McGrane and Estelle Foulon McGrane; his former wife Rosalie Grayson Williams McGrane; his wife Patricia Gannaway McGrane; his stepson Ed Gannaway; his grandson Joe Miller; and his great grandchild Alexis McGrane.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Miller (John) of Charlotte, N. C., Rosalie Simmons of Boone, N. C and Joe McGrane; and his stepson Bob Gannaway of Atlanta, Georgia..
