He is survived by: his wife Susan Pope Henderson; his children, Wesley Henderson of Winston-Salem and Angie Barnette (Andy) of Winston-Salem; his grandchildren, Samantha, Darien, Bailey and Aubrey; and his sisters, Mary Ann Mayberry (Eddie) of Tobaccoville and Linda Minor (Jerry) of Winston-Salem. He is also survived by his family and friends.
