It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold Elliot Siegel of Winston Salem, North Carolina, who passed away on June 27, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Siegel and Marian Heller Siegel. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Ostroff Siegel; and his stepchildren, Eleanor Schulman of Westbrook, ME and Daniel Ephraim of San Francisco, CA.

“I was a good friend of Arnie from 1958 - 1990, then he just disappeared and I couldn't locate him. No ill will that I could detect, but I'm very sorry to hear of his passing. He was lots of fun and very innovative. still have some old letters of his that he wrote when we were corresponding when he was in college in Iowa in the 1960's. My condolences to all of you and for my part, he will be missed. - Eli Meltzer, email [email protected]”
