We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2024, at the age of 91, Antoinette (Toni) DeRosa Petersen (Winston Salem, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norman R. Petersen, Jr.; her siblings, Angelina Berrigan (Ginnie) and Nicholas DeRosa (Nick); her parents, Julia DeRosa (Fiore) and Joseph DeRosa; and her grandparents, Nicola and Angelina Fiore.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ginnie, Joseph and Frances; her aunt Mae; her uncle Tom Geraci; her children, Kristen and Mark; her daughter-in-law Louisa; her daughter Jobi Cates; her son-in-law Tom; and her siblings, Andrew, Owen, Walt Petersen, Soren Dorr and Rowen Cates.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Arbor Acres in Winston-Salem, the community that provided a wonderful home and compassionate care.
