He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Elizabeth Bell and Alphonso Mock of Winston-Salem, NC.. He is survived by: his uncle Phil Caldwell of Salisbury, NC; his siblings, Joann Stewart (Grady) of Winston-Salem, Debbie Long (George) of Hollis, NY. and Maurice Bell (Theresa) of Richmond; and his close friends, Warren Richardson and Ernest Brinkley. He is also survived by Four nieces, one nephew, six great nieces, seven great nephews, four great-great nieces, one great-great nephew.
