With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Annie Iola Williams (Winston Salem, North Carolina), born in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, who passed away on February 16, 2023 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred M. Williams and Rev. Nettie M. Williams; and her sisters, Freddie Murchison and Susie Mims. She is survived by: her siblings, Minister Arnetta Robinson (Linell) of Garner, NC, Dr. Karen Williams of Winston-Salem, NC, Lewis Williams of Raleigh, NC, Rev. Fred Williams (JoAnne) of Raleigh, NC, Rev. Kenneth Williams of Raleigh, NC and Carlis Williams (Beverly) of Raleigh, NC; her aunts and uncles, Ruby Brown (Bill) of Suffolk, VA, Willie Constance McGregor of New Haven, CT, Jerry McGregor (Debra) of Raeford, NC, Matthew McGregor (Algie) of Raeford, NC and David McGregor (Hannah) of Raeford, NC; her brother-in-law Junious Murchison of Raleigh, NC; her friends, Gloria Dunn, Lillie Bitting and Debbie Woodson; her godchildren, Nicole Williams, Tevin Williams, Marlena Green, Lamont Green, Teairrah Green and Pamela Green; and her sisters, Karen Hansley and Constance Archie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
