She is survived by: her daughter Melanie Agnew Simpson; her son-in-law Thomas Christopher Simpson; her grandchildren, Christopher Alonzo Simpson of Charlotte, NC, Traci Alecia Simpson of Charlotte, NC and Buddy Simpson of Charlotte, NC; her siblings, Jacqueline Wallace Rogers, Marjorie J. Wallace, Garland A. Wallace, Sr. and Johnnie C. Hinton, Sr.; her brother-in-law Larry C. Rogers of Winston-Salem, NC; her nieces and nephews, Millicent Oliver Smith, Monica Lynn Oliver, Anthony Oliver, Sr. (Roxie), Michelle Hauser (Larry), Johnnie Hinton, Jr. (Catina) and Stephanie Rogers Bitting (Jacques); her cousin Sandra Brown Stevenson; her close friends, Emma Pitts, Jacqueline Williams, Carolyn Barnes, Dorothy Mitchell and Delois Britton; and her goddaughters, Lucretia Robinson, Annette Jaggers, Erica Gassaway and Antioch Baptist Church.
