It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Greenland Kennedy (Winston Salem, North Carolina), who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Greenland and Virginia Greenland. She is survived by: her husband Connor; her sons, Jim and Chris; her brother John Greenland (Kim); her niece Carrie of Salisbury; her brother-in-law Ralph Kennedy of Chicago, IL; her father-in-law Jim Kennedy; and her sister-in-law Ruth Kennedy of Winston-Salem.

“My sympathy to all of Ann’s family on your loss. I worked with Ann from when she was teaching at North High School and I was supervising biology student teachers from Wake Forest University with her. Even though I left Winston-Salem in 2007, we kept in contact via mails and once a year in person during my visits. During the first years after I left Wake, Ann took over my supervision duties at the Education Department at Wake, which allowed students already in our program to successfully finish.”
