Though Ann Ernest may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grover Allen and Julia Speaks Ernest; her husband Kenneth Barber; and her brother Jack Ernest. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Kinney (Woody) of Winston-Salem, Vickie O'Toole (Fred) of Travelers Rest, SC and Kenneth Barber (Bridgette) of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association and/or the SPCA of the Triad.
