She was predeceased by: her father Edward Lawrenzo Byrd; and her sister Carolyn Byrd. She is survived by: her mother Catherine Blackwell Byrd; and her children, Patrick Renard Crews of Winston Salem and Chauntelle Denise Tribett of Winston Salem. She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of other family members and friends.
