It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alvin Eugene Dodson of Winston Salem, North Carolina, born in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on July 12, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Dodson and Goldie Dodson. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Page Dodson; his sister Etta Mae Thacker (Richard) of Versailles Ky; his children, Terry Dodson (Paula) of Clemmons, NC and Sheila Blanton; and his grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley, Jonathan Blanton of Pfafftown, NC, Heather Waters Kirby of Santa Barbara, CA, Nathan Waters of Lexington, KY, Garreth, Madeline Waters and Amelia Kirby.
